Group Bio
The Washams are a family group from Maynardville, Tennessee. Our father and his family traveled and sang gospel music for many years when we were young. When this ministry ended Dad became pastor of a local church and has continued to pastor ever since. Chris followed in our father’s footsteps and announced his calling to preach about six years ago. We grew up singing in church, but a little over four years ago we felt a strong calling from God to begin a music ministry of our own. We took a leap of faith and purchased a bus. Since that time we have traveled and sang just about every weekend. Our desire is to be led by God in this work he has given us to do. God’s blessings have been on our ministry and we have seen many souls saved and lives changed. It is not always easy but we truly find joy in what we are doing. We are committed to sharing the gospel through song. Being able to see one more soul saved makes all the hard times worth it. Where God leads, we will follow.
Stan Washam
Dad, lead singer, pianist, guitar player, bus driver and jack of all trades. There isn’t much he can’t do or won’t do. He has been blessed with God given talent and uses it to glorify the father. He and our mother, Ellene, have been married for 39 years.
Chris Washam
The oldest son, Chris gives his all to this ministry. He plays guitar, sings lead and writes the majority of our songs. He also takes care of most of the behind the scenes business. He is anointed with the spirit of God and isn’t ashamed to share the gospel. He and his wife Lisa have 2 children, Jacob and Emily.
Robin Scott
Robin sings tenor and lead on some songs. She has also ventured into song writing. Robin truly feels God’s hand is on what we are doing and gives her all to see His plan accomplished. She and her husband Jerry have two sons, Matthew and Luke. I had a bout of clinical depression 3 years ago and was put on 4 different meds. None really worked. Until I called on the "Great Physician" I wrote a song called "Talk To The King" that was inspired by the Holy Spirit one night just sitting on my bed. From that night to this day I have never took another pill for depression. Jesus has the answer alll the time. I know there are many out there (especially women) who struggle with this every day of there lives. Don't let it keep you stagnant in the same spot. Lift your eyes to heaven. "Talk to the King" when there is no one else to talk to. People just don't understand how severe this disease can truly be. The song I wrote is on our second and third CD. I felt I just had to get the message out. You are not alone. My new motto is: You will never have a testimony until you have a test. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
Tracy White
The middle child of the bunch. She sings alto, occasionally leads, and writes songs also. Tracy is willing to do whatever needs to be done to keep us going. She also takes care of a lot of the behind the scenes business. Tracy truly loves the work we are doing for God. She and her husband Brian have two children, Lauren and Colby.
Ritchie Rose
Our first cousin, who is more like a brother. Ritchie plays bass and takes care of our sound. He also occasionally sings and adds background harmony. Ritchie loves to travel and do what we are doing. He has two grown sons, Shawn and Erik.and three step children, Keith, Julie, and Amy, Ritchie and his wife, Margaret, have 6 grandchildren.
Blake Washam
The baby of the family. Blake has moved over from guitar to drums, and is doing a great job. He is a worker, and ready to help in any way he can.
